The Bulls may sit some folks on the second night of a back to back. The Knicks seem to be energized. Of course I worry about a back door cover but now that it’s under 9 I’ll pull the trigger.
The addition of F OJ Anunoby from the Raptors had an immediate dividend for the Knicks on Monday when he scored 17 in the 112-106 win over the T-wolves. An immediate beneficiary was Julius Randle, who scored a big 39 as the Wolves had to keep an eye on the newest Knick, but it also appears as if Anunoby has already seamlessly fit into the Tom Thibodeau mix and if anything could enhance the production of Randle and hopefully Jalen Brunson as well. Meanwhile the Bulls can't seem to string together a meaningful uptick, made harder by current absences of Nikola Vucevic and Zach LaVine. Play Knicks
The Knicks looked fantastic in their win over the best team in the West, the Timberwolves. New York's defense will be much improved adding OG Anunoby. The Bulls are on the second half of a back-to-back and will be missing some key pieces tonight at the Garden. Knicks roll.
