The Nets are starting to play well, my metrics say they are actually even more efficient than the scoreboard has said. Plus, the Knocks are still adjusting to life without Mitchell Robinson on the D end. I think this is good value and I’ll take the 1.5 points.
No Mitchell Robinson (out 8-10 weeks) has left the Knicks hollow in the middle. Clayton should be able to roam free. Points and Rebounds are a little low. Over.
Nic Claxton has had a fairly quiet 23-24 campaign after breaking out last season on his way to setting career high numbers in nearly every counting category. Claxton dealt with an ankle injury that caused him to miss time early in the season but looks 100% healthy and has rounded into mid season form. I like this matchup for him against the Knicks who are missing DPOY candidate Mitchell Robinson and is a big reason why the Knicks were allowing the fewest points in the paint on a per game basis. Robinson suffered an ankle injury that is going to cause the big man to miss multiple weeks. Without Robinson, the Knicks interior defense has gone from a strength to a major weakness.
