Just get the Magic away from Boston! A pair of games across the weekend at TD Garden cooled down Orlando, but no shame in those results as Boston hasn't lost to anybody at home this season. Hosting the Heat, the Magic seek a tenth straight win at what is now known as the Kia Center, with the new name in place starting tonight after 13 years as Amway Center. Miami, however, offers better value on the road than at home, so we decide to look "under" tonight while also noting that Jimmy Butler (calf) won't be suited up for the Heat. Play Heat-Magic "Under"
The Orlando Magic have been impressive thus far and they've been even better at home. They get a short handed Heat squad that has some questionable tags and their best player likely out in Jimmy Butler. The Magic are craving an easier matchup after back to back losses to the Celtics on the road and they've got it in this home matchup.
No Jimmy Butler for the Heat, who are on one of those player-hated one-game trips in the middle of an otherwise long run of home games, and Wendell Carter is back from injury for Orlando. Bit high of a price, though, so half unit. At least the NBA is largely still making sense right now because the NHL and college basketball sure aren't. So we will be VERY particular if not dark on those two sports for a bit until they sort themselves out. The holidays can do that, especially in the NCAA.
