Ja Morant three-pointer prop bets are the most fun to play. Generally always set at 1.5, Ja is good to drill one early in the game and then the sweat begins. Be aware this bet isn't for everyone and that's okay, but if you're looking to gamble it's the one for you. Morant has hit this in two of his last three and three of his last five games. You're looking at 5-6 attempts from behind the arc and he's a better shooter than people give him credit for. Look for the Lakers to protect the drive to the paint and Ja ready and willing to let it rip from deep.
The NBA Playoffs are here and that means postseason LeBron James is as well...but its much more than just his points. Early in playoff series the elder statesman James approaches his opponent much as a coach would, feeling them out and adjusting where he needs to. Long story short look for LeBron to facilitate in Game 1, especially to Anthony Davis, which is why we're riding his assists over 6.5. Memphis will push the pace of play and transitions which will lead to Los Angeles doing the same a few times as well on the opposite end. LeBron usually gets his but in Game 1's look for him to focus on getting his teammates ready for the series as well.
Memphis’ 35 home wins were the most by any team in the league since the Warriors went 36-5 in 2016-17. Opponents shot 46.9% at the rim with Jaren Jackson Jr. as the closest defender. This was the lowest percentage allowed in the NBA this season by a wide margin. Important because even after all the trades, the Lakers still aren't a good three-point shooting team so if they can't score in the paint ... we'll take the Grizz for the opener.
Ja Morant has been exceptional in the playoffs. He has eclipsed this combo line in seven of his previous postseason appearances. The 2x All-Star averages 28.2 PPG, 9.2 APG, and 6.9 RPG in his playoff career. Morant nearly averaged a triple double last season's playoff run and posted 27.1 PPG, 9.8 APG, and 8.0 RPG. I also love the fact that Grizzlies HC Taylor Jenkins turns Morant loose in the postseason and he plays nearly 40 mins a game, compared to the 33 MPG he averages in the regular season. The last time he faced the Lakers he torched them for 39/10/10 back in February. I suspect this will be the last time we see this combo line at 14.5.
