I wasn't planning on playing this game and certainly the Bulls could still lose, but the Hawks are a bit thin in the frontcourt with both Onyeka Okongwu and De'Andre Hunter. We knew about Okongwu but Hunter was a late scratch. Chicago is well-rested off its win in Paris last Thursday. These teams have split two meetings this season in Atlanta. DeMar DeRozan is averaging 31.0 ppg in the season series, and Zach LaVine has scored at least 20 points in his last eight games vs. the Hawks. I'm on the short ML, but the Bulls are 6-1 ATS in their past seven at home.
Atlanta was on its way to its sixth straight win when Charlotte pulled off an unlikely comeback Saturday night, led by Terry Rozier's white-hot shooting. It was the second night of a back-to-back for Atlanta. I like the Hawks to get back on track in Chicago; they're relatively healthy and have a higher ceiling than the Bulls. Atlanta has won four straight road games outright. Chicago hasn't played since whipping the Pistons in Paris on Thursday. Play the road dog.
