It’s been customary for the Milwaukee Bucks to sit several players in back-to-back spots. They’ll do that once again Thursday against the Miami Heat after defeating the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday. Even so, Miami has won by more than five just once in its last nine home games. Take the Bucks and the points.
I really hate the NBA as teams just take "punt games." That appears to be the case tonight for the Bucks because as of now, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Grayson Allen and Joe Ingles are joining the legitimately injured Khris Middleton on the bench. I'm be shocked if Jrue Holiday doesn't eventually join them. The Heat are listing Kyle Lowry and Tyler Herro as out but Jimmy Butler will play and Bam Adebayo is expected to, so that should be enough. I don't really love this number but I'm so ticked that I picked Boston right before Jaylen Brown was downgraded to questionable that I'm playing it. Again, best to wait right before tipoff in the NBA but we don't have that opportunity.
