Boston pounded Seattle on Tuesday, and the great thing about backing the Sox here is that their four-run bottom of the seventh meant they didn't have to use any high-leverage relievers in the eighth or ninth. Not that Boston may need its bullpen much on Wednesday facing Seattle starter Emerson Hancock (0-1, 12.71 ERA). He's not 12.71 ERA bad but has a 5.29 mark in 17 career big-league appearances.
