Great time to be hitting third in a lineup like this with Aaron Judge red-hot right in front of you and with whomever Aaron Boone puts in the leadoff spot getting on base, whether its a catcher (Austin Wells), a slow-footed first-baseman who has never done it before (Paul Goldschmidt), or another slow footed catcher/1B (Ben Rice). Jazz is meeting the moment and finding his spots to flex his power, with 8 RBIs already this season. I expect the Yankees bats to be able to feast a bit here today again.

Chisholm is in a great spot when the Yankees lineup is cranking like this and guys like Austin Wells and Anthony Volpe are hitting bombs. And with the Yankees often winning big he can chase the long ball and has 4 already this season and 2 in 7 career games in this ballpark (slugging .500). He also is 2/4 with a HR in his career vs the very hittable Bailey Falter, who doesn't get much swing and miss which is key for Jazz. I figure he goes hunting for No. 5 here vs an awful pitching staff in what could be a game filled with low leverage ABs.
They were already booing before the opener at PNC Park on Friday as they dream of owner Bob Nutting selling the team, even before the Bucs looked simply outclassed vs. the Yankees, and not sure why tonight should be different. True, Bailey Falter had an encouraging start for Pittsburgh last Saturday at Miami, but those were the popgun Marlins. There's nothing popgun about the homer-happy Yankees and their torpedo bats, banging out 13 hits on Friday including Aaron Judge's sixth homer. That makes 22 homers for the Bronx Bombers in seven innings. We're pretty sure that Marcus Stroman (who was 5-2 with a solid 3.09 ERA away last season) will have some run support on Saturday. Play Yankees on Run Line.
I don't like putting my money behind Marcus Stroman, but man do the Buccos look bad to me. I don't see anything going for them when Paul Skenes isn't on the mound and he won't be throwing a pitch on Saturday. The Yankees' bats are cranked up (and possibly illegal). They will love this ballpark and the Pirates' pen is already on fire. Pirates ABs have been pretty dreadful so far and I figure Aaron Boone will be quick to go the pen if need be.
