Erick Fedde has struggled since joining the Cardinals prior to this years trade deadline. Despite Fedde's recent pitching woes, I would argue that he was a serious regression candidate and was playing above his head for the majority of the season with the White Sox and this version we're now seeing, albeit a small sample, is more in line with the pitcher Fedde is. He has has failed to eclipse this line in only 11 of 24 combined starts, however he has gone under in 2/3 since joining St. Louis.

The Brewers have won 10 of 13 against quality competition. The Cardinals have gone 13-21 since July 8 and have generally been uninspiring for a while. The Brewers are better on the road than the Cardinals are at home. Cards starter Erick Fedde has a 5.63 ERA since being traded to St. Louis. The Brewers have won all three Frankie Montas starts since his acquisition. This shouldn't be plus money on the Brewers. We're taking it with a smile.

I like the Brew Crew to win this game by multiple runs and will be going into al markets to play it. MIL 6-1 vs STL with a ridiculous 42-16 RD. MIL 10-3 last 13 with 8 wins of 2+ runs. STL is 5-11 this month with 8 losses by 2+ runs. Erik Fedde is getting crushed back in the NL - 5.63 ERA in 3 starts (vs light-hitting Cubs, Reds and Rays). Frankie Montas scares me some but was good vs LAD last time out and they have a better team and better pen.
