We know all about how bad the White Sox are overall, but they are far worse on the road at 10-44 heading into Friday. The Twins are 29-21 at home and that's after they started 0-4 in Target Field. Twins starter Joe Ryan is very good while the White Sox have a parade of terrible relievers coming against a high-powered Twins offense. The most likel scenario is a Twins' blowout, so we're playing the run line (-1.5, -159).
The Twins are 9-1 vs the Pale Hose, with 6 wins of multiple runs and a +18 RD. Pale Hose have lost 17 in a row and counting and have a horrible roster and no morale and as bad a back end of the pen as you will find. They are hopeless and running out a spot starter with a 4.77 career ERA. MIN hasn't played great ball lately, but the White Sox are just so awful I can't resist.
Said before that I'm not a huge fan of -1.5 but there's no way we are getting -1 at a reasonable price. Such an utter mismatch. I'd honestly prefer to watch the Savannah Bananas vs. the Twins at this point. I'm trying to remember the last time I've been so down on a Chicago franchise. Oh, the Tim Floyd Bulls. What do they have in common? Initials are J.R. Do I really need to give you pitching splits or the like here? OK, Minnesota's Joe Ryan is unbeaten in five career starts in the series. The Twins have owned the White Sox it seems even back to when the South Siders were good a couple of years. This will be a very popular play Friday.
