If we push, we push. This weekend is probably it for the Giants' WC hopes. Lose this series and the front office goes into full sell mode (if it hasn't already). Sweep it and perhaps it's slight buyer mode. This is really just a fade of the awful Rockies and starting pitcher Kyle Freeland, who is 1-3 with a 9.38 ERA on the road. His counterpart Kyle, the Giants' Harrison, threw five shutout innings in Denver last weekend.

The Rockies just had a nice series vs the BoSox but that was at home, where they are basically a .500 team. It's 14-36 on the road, with the 4th worst cover rate ATS. Kyle Freeland sports a 9.38 ERA on the road. SF is 6-3 vs the Rox, with a +13 RD. Kyle Harrison has faced COL 3 times and held them scoreless twice, allowing 3 ER in 17 IP vs them. Two of them were blowout wins for SF. Neither team been great vs lefties but Harrison's track record here, including facing them last week, stands out for me. Giants a much smoother operation at home
