WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play 2022 head-to-head matchups, PGA golf picks: DFS pro says pick Adam Scott over Justin Rose

Mike McClure has studied the field and locked in his head to head golf betting picks for the first round of the 2022 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play bracket

The PGA Tour will depart from its typical stroke-play format to offer the best in the world a chance to go one-on-one at the 2022 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play this week. The WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play bracket breaks 64 of the best golfers in the world into 16 groups with every golfer playing three round-robin matches against the other three golfers in their group. The 16 group winners then participate in a single-elimination tournament with the Round of 16 and quarterfinals played on Saturday and the semifinals and finals played on Sunday. Jon Rahm and Justin Thomas are listed as the 14-1 co-favorites in the 2022 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play odds but if you don't love those odds, you can bet on any individual match with head-to-head betting.

Head-to-head golf betting is growing in popularity and allows fans to bet on every matchup in the 2022 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play bracket. SportsLine's PGA expert, Mike McClure, has analyzed the field and used his proven golf model to simulate the 2022 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play 10,000 times, and there are some MAJOR surprises.

SportsLine's proprietary model, built by McClure, has been RED-HOT since the PGA Tour resumed play in June of 2020. In fact, the model is up over $8,200 on its best bets since the restart, nailing tournament after tournament.

At the 2021 Open Championship, McClure's best bets included Collin Morikawa winning outright even though he was listed as a massive 40-1 long shot. In addition, McClure's model was all over Jon Rahm's (10-1) first career major championship victory at the 2021 U.S. Open. Rahm was two strokes off the lead heading into the weekend, but the model still projected him as the winner.

At the Sony Open in 2022, McClure's model listed Hideki Matsuyama among the top contenders. The reigning Masters champion went out and overcame a five-stroke deficit on the back nine of the final round to notch his eighth career PGA Tour victory.

This same model has also nailed a whopping seven majors entering the weekend! Anyone who has followed it has seen MASSIVE returns!

Now, McClure has set his sights on the 2022 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play and just revealed his optimal head-to-head golf betting picks. They are a must-see for any player looking for an edge in their golf betting strategy.

We can tell you that one of McClure's favorite WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play head-to-head picks is Adam Scott (-110) over Justin Rose on the three-way betting line in their first-round matchup. Rose has slid all the way to No. 52 in the Official World Golf Ranking currently after being ranked inside the top 10 as recently as 2020. Meanwhile, Scott is back up to No. 37 in the OWGR after falling as low as 50th. Scott has three top-10 finishes in his last six worldwide starts and the model likes him to stay hot given that Rose has missed the cut his last two starts.

McClure is also targeting two additional head-to-head bets that offer huge value. You ABSOLUTELY need to see them before locking in any head-to-head picks of your own.
