Heading into Sunday night's game, road favorites were on quite the tear. Then the Jets made a mess, but that's OK because we were waiting for Mike Tomlin to get the full three points and then faded Aaron Rodgers again. Ka-ching! 

Looking at games with a true home-field advantage (i.e. not being played in London), road favorites had covered 15 straight games dating back to Week 5 before Gang Green wilted. That's obviously quite the trend, and one that will certainly have a course correction. But how pronounced will that correction be, and how soon will it come? The cover margin of those 15 games is more than a touchdown. That's hard to ignore.

I'm going to lean into that trend a bit this season. There does appear to be some separation going on between the haves and the have-nots. And there are a few favored teams who really stand out to me, including one on a short week. There are some serious quarterback mismatches ahead in Week 8.
