This is an unusual week in the NFL to be sure, and we did a lot of very early work on the midweek Christmas games. There is something at stake for five of the six teams participating, which always helps this time of year.

The Wednesday games are less offensive from a capping standpoint considering all of those teams competed on Saturday. We have a chance for some competitive games in the Christmas window, and I suspect all of those who wanted to give Josh Allen the MVP award weeks ago might find they wasted a lot of time anointing him if Lamar Jackson finishes this season as spectacularly as I expect.
