NFL Prop Bets: Will Marshawn Lynch hit $7.5 million in bonuses?
Â
Marshawn Lynch's deal guarantees him "just" $3 million. The Raiders wisely loaded it with incentives.
If the 31-year-old Lynch -- who sat out last season -- returns to Beast Mode, he could earn another $7.5 million in bonuses, reports ESPN.com.
CBS SPORTS: LYNCH TO WEAR NO. 24
Lynch is expected to replace Latavius Murray as Oakland's most punishing runner.
BookMaker.eu, a major offshore sports book, set Lynch's Over-Under for rushing touchdowns at 8.5, and his Over-Under for rushing yards at 975.5, which would be the most he's had in a season since 2014.
Given those expected numbers from oddsmakers, Lynch is in good shape to attain a sizable amount of his incentives.
Lynch will make $400,000 if he rushes for 400 yards, another $400,000 if he clips 600 rushing yards, a $600,000 bonus for 800 rushing yards and an additional $600,000 for hitting 1,000, per ESPN.com.
If Lynch runs for nine touchdowns, he'll earn $250,000. He'll get another $250,000 for 12 rushing scores.
Those are just some of the bonuses on the table.
For instance, Lynch gets another $500,000 if three things happen: Raiders make playoffs, Lynch runs for 1,000 yards and 12 touchdowns.
The SportsLine Projection Model gives Oakland a 46.8 percent chance of making the postseason. Lynch must stay healthy to have a chance at 1,000 rushing yards and 12 TDs.
In 2015 with Seattle, his last year in the league, Lynch played just seven games due to injury.
