Introducing the All-New SportsLine
Say hello to the all-new SportsLine, featuring premium picks by Vegas experts. The CBS Interactive site relaunched on Tuesday with an all-new home page that brings live, up-to-the minute picks from SportsLine's team of experts front and center.
Now when a user visits SportsLine's home page, they'll see the latest picks from experts like Josh Nagel, who has hit 61 percent of his college football picks the past six years, and former Vegas bookmaker Micah Roberts. Readers will get inside the head of analysts like Mike McClure, whose weighted on-base average, or wOBA, computer model was up 36 betting units since launching in June.
"Making our experts the central focus of SportsLine was our goal in relaunching the site," SportsLine Brand Manager Grant Gurtin said. "Our home page is a lot more dynamic. Every time a person comes to SportsLine.com, the picks and analysis they'll see will be fresh."
SportsLine also has added video content anchored by Kelly Stewart, a Vegas-based capper and columnist. Joining Stewart are new experts Emory Hunt, aka "The Czar of the Playbook," and Preston Johnson, who goes by the handle the "Sports Cheetah." Hunt has written three books about football, while Johnson went a documented 165-110 in college football and 61-33 in the NFL last season.
Other SportsLine experts include AccuScore co-founder Stephen Oh, Vegas handicapper Zack Cimini (40-25-1 on NFL picks last season) and CBS Sports Senior Fantasy Writer Dave Richard, a longtime NFL guru.
Paid members of SportsLine can view expert picks on NFL, college football and basketball, MLB, NBA, NHL and EPL games, plus MMA matches. They will see where the public's money is going, access relevant trends and exclusive analysis and get a full history of line moves.
Every expert's analysis and pick, win or lose, will be displayed on his or her expert page. That way, readers can look up all of an expert's past picks.
SportsLine will continue to feature daily articles from the site's experts and will profile the hottest analysts.
A paid subscription to SportsLine costs only $9.99 per month, making it affordable for any sports enthusiast. SportsLine also offers free Daily Fantasy cheat sheets and lineup recommendations for FanDuel and DraftKings.
SportsLine is owned by CBS Interactive, whose family of brands includes CBSSports.com, CBS All Access, 247Sports, CNET and TVGuide.com.
