Fantasy Football Week 11 Waiver Wire: How much to bid on Tyjae Spears, Gus Edwards and more key targets

R.J. White breaks down the best widely-available Fantasy football free agents heading into Week 11

The Fantasy football regular season is nearing an end, and with several quality RB performances this week, it might be time to empty the FAB stock a bit while trying to find an impact player to help over the rest of the year. Of course, the type of team you manage matters; those that look comfortably heading to a playoff berth can organize their teams around the players with the greatest potential on the Fantasy playoff season, while those that have to battle to qualify for the postseason have to go all out over the next few weeks.

One other factor to consider is how bye weeks affect your teams over the next few weeks. I had one league where I only had one WR not on bye at the start of the week (I'm going to win, but picking up DJ Chark ended up being pointless). I have another where I'm basically going to have an entire bench of bye-week players this coming week, limiting what I can do on the wire as I will need to start anyone I pick up.

The good news is that several RBs appear to be emerging with Fantasy-relevant roles. Tyjae Spears and Gus Edwards returned from injury to lead their respective teams in rushing yards in a matchup against each other despite the established starters seeing more carries in both instances. Both Spears and Edwards should clearly be universally rostered, and I'd be comfortable plugging either in as a flex option if needed this week due to byes, so I'm willing to be a little aggressive on their bidding. However, there's one clear back we should be targeting ahead of either, which I'll get into below.

You'll find top options at every position rostered in fewer than 60% of leagues on CBSSports.com. We'll start with a waiver priority chart that features my FAB bid projections for every player discussed in this waiver wire article before we dive into each player.

Before you determine which players you should target on the Fantasy football waiver wire ahead of Week 11, you NEED to see what R.J. White has to say.

If you're a regular subscriber to SportsLine, you probably know White from dominating NFL picks for years, but did you know he actually got his start in sports media as a Fantasy baseball and football analyst? He even finished No. 1 among all experts for his draft rankings the first year FantasyPros tracked MLB expert accuracy on their site. White has continued to excel at season-long and dynasty Fantasy baseball and football formats, and this year he's sharing his Fantasy expertise with SportsLine subscribers.

Now, he's revealed the best widely available free agents following Week 10. Two key players to target on the Week 11 waiver wire: Titans running back Tyjae Spears and Chargers running back Gus Edwards. White has full breakdowns for both players.

White is also prioritizing a different RB! This player could be in for a big role that requires using at least 25% of your FAB budget to secure as he could be a HUGE boost to your roster moving forward! You ABSOLUTELY need to see who it is before making any Week 11 waiver wire claims.
