Fantasy Football Week 10 Waiver Wire: How much to bid on Cooper Rush, Jalen Tolbert and more key targets

R.J. White breaks down the best widely-available Fantasy football free agents heading into Week 10

The Cowboys appear to be on their last legs of contention at 3-5 after a loss to the Falcons that may have cost them not only a reasonable shot of getting back into the playoff race but also their two best players on offense. Dak Prescott is reportedly set to miss multiple weeks due to a hamstring injury, which puts Cooper Rush under center as the Dallas quarterback for the foreseeable future.

Rush had a big day in his one game filling in as starter in 2021, throwing for 325 yards and two TDs against a cooked Minnesota defense whose head coach is now the Cowboys defensive coordinator. He went 4-1 when Prescott was injured early in 2022 as well, but his numbers were not a promising during that stretch, averaging 191.2 yards per game while throwing five TDs and three picks (with all of the interceptions coming in the one loss) and contributing nothing as a runner. Ideally the Cowboys would rely on the running game and not put too much on Rush's arm, but the Dallas ground game has not been very good this year, so there may be no choice for Rush to air it out. That puts him on the Fantasy football radar, and we get into how much FAB he's worth in our waiver wire rankings below.

The other injury to monitor for the Cowboys is at receiver with CeeDee Lamb, who played through a shoulder injury late in the loss to the Falcons. We don't know the results of an MRI on the shoulder as of this writing, but Jalen Tolbert could be thrust into a bigger role as the team's WR1 if Lamb misses time. Tolbert's ceiling is lowered with Rush at QB, but he'd still see enough targets to be worth rostering in all Fantasy leagues. We cover how much to bid on him based on how the Lamb situation develops over the next 24 hours below, where you'll find top options at every position rostered in fewer than 60% of leagues on CBSSports.com. We'll start with a waiver priority chart that features my FAB bid projections for every player discussed in this waiver wire article before we dive into each player.
