The 2024 college football season will begin on Saturday, Aug. 24 when the Florida State Seminoles take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at the Aer Lingus College Football Classic in Dublin. It's the first of four games on the Week 0 college football schedule, as SMU takes on Nevada, New Mexico plays Montana State and Hawaii battles Delaware State as well. In the two matchups between FBS schools, Florida State is favored by 10.5 in the Week 0 college football odds while SMU is a 27.5-point favorite.

Junior quarterback Haynes King threw for nearly 3,000 yards and 27 touchdowns in 2023 while rushing for 737 yards and 10 additional scores.

King led the Yellow Jackets to their first bowl game in five years, and they covered the spread in five of their final six games last season. Florida State has been overvalued to open recent campaigns, covering the spread once in their previous eight games in August.
