We're down to the final four in the first edition of the 12-team College Football Playoff, and the remaining field features four of the most accomplished programs in the sport. Arizona State came up just short of playing spoiler and adding a Cinderella element to the CFP semifinals, but Texas managed to hold on for a 39-31 win on double overtime.

The semifinals are set with No. 6-seeded Penn State facing No. 7 Notre Dame (-2.5, O/U 45.5) in the Orange Bowl on Thursday, followed by No. 5 Texas taking on No. 8-seeded Ohio State (-6, 53.5) on Friday in the Cotton Bowl.
