Mexico's Liga MX kicks off this weekend, and Club America host FC Juarez on Friday night at Estadio Azteca as part of Matchday 1 of the league's Apertura. America went 12-3-3 to finish atop the table in the Apertura last season and were second (9-7-1) in the Clausura. They lost in the liguilla semifinals in both legs of the season. Juarez finished 11th in the first leg at 4-7-6 and were 16th in the second with a 3-6-8 mark. The teams met in the Clausura regular-season finale on April 28, a 1-0 America victory in Juarez.

Kickoff in Mexico City is set for 9 p.m. ET. Caesars Sportsbook lists America as -240 favorites (risk $240 to win $100) in its latest Club America vs. Juarez odds, with Juarez the +650 underdogs. A draw is priced at +350, and the over/under for total match goals is 2.5. (For more soccer coverage, click here.)

Before you lock in your Juarez vs. Club America picks or Mexican Liga MX predictions, you must see what soccer bettor Jon (Buckets) Eimer has to say.

Eimer is a high-volume bettor who has vast knowledge of leagues and players across the globe. Since joining SportsLine, he has covered the English Premier League, Serie A, the FA Cup and much more. Since the end of last year's World Cup he has been red-hot, going 156-130-7 for a profit of $3,412 for $100 bettors.

Eimer knows America had the second-best record across the two legs of the 2022-23 season, while Juarez had the 13th-best. Las Aguilas scored 74 goals while conceding 38 in the 34 matches, while Juarez had a minus-9 goal differential (34-43). The hosts lost just one match at Azteca (10-6-1) and had a plus-20 home goal differential. Henry Martin led Liga MX in both goals (24) and assists (10) during the last campaign.

The expert also has considered that Juarez are a physical side that could frustrate the hosts. They committed 18 fouls in the most recent meeting, allowing a goal in the 36th minute and failing to find an equalizer. Los Bravos had the better of possession despite losing both meetings in 2022-23 and had 32 shots, putting 11 on target, in last season's finale. They went 0-2-2 to close the season under new manager Diego Mejia.

For Sunday's Liga MX match, Eimer has taken an in-depth look at the Club America vs. Juarez matchup and locked in his picks, including a plus-money play on a goal-scorer. He also has a full breakdown of this match. You ABSOLUTELY need to see his picks and analysis before making any selections of your own.
