New York Knicks (-1, 213.5) at Detroit Pistons: 7 p.m. ET
The Pistons managed a split in New York after winning Game 2, 100-94. Detroit got a big game from star Cade Cunningham, who scored 33 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Tobias Harris added 15 points and 13 boards.
Jalen Brunson scored 37 for the Knicks in a losing effort, but New York will need more from its bench moving forward in this series. The Knicks' starters accounted for 86 of the 94 points in Game 2, with Miles McBride (eight points) being the only reserve to score.
The Pistons are 4-1 in their last five meetings with New York, while five of the last seven games have gone over the total.
Denver Nuggets at Los Angeles Clippers (-5, 213.5): 10 p.m. ET
The Nuggets-Clippers series is certainly living up to the hype, with the first two games being decided by five points. After Denver took the first game 112-110 in overtime, Los Angeles evened the series with a 105-102 victory thanks to a 39-point effort from Kawhi Leonard. Leonard's big game offset a combined 49 points from the Nuggets' 1-2 punch of Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray.
The Clippers are a small home favorite in Game 3 and have been the profitable side in this matchup of late, covering seven of the last 10 meetings, with eight of those games going under the total.
Vegas Golden Knights (-150, 5.5) at Minnesota Wild: 9 p.m. ET
A pivotal Game 3 in the NHL Playoffs pits the Vegas Golden Knights against the Minnesota Wild. The Wild head home after tying the series in Game 2 with a 5-2 upset. While Minnesota has to feel good the series is even, the Wild need to buck recent history Thursday. Vegas had won six straight meetings before the Game 2 loss and has taken eight of the last 10 overall. The Golden Knights have also won five straight in Minnesota.
Tampa Bay Rays at Arizona Diamondbacks (-135, 8): 9:40 p.m. ET
A good pitching matchup highlights the Rays-Diamondbacks interleague contest Thursday. Drew Rasmussen gets the ball for Tampa Bay, while Corbin Burnes is expected to be on the bump for Arizona. Rasmussen has been fantastic this season, sporting a minuscule 0.87 ERA in four starts. Burnes got roughed up in his first two outings, but he's pitching better of late, allowing five runs over 12.0 innings in his last two starts.
Tampa Bay is the underdog Thursday but the Rays have had the upper hand in this series recently, winning six of the last seven meetings.
