The 2025 NFL Draft is just two weeks away, and the betting market is starting to take shape around what is expected to happen in the first round. Last weekend, Travis Hunter shifted to the favorite to go No. 2 overall to the Cleveland Browns, and those odds have only strengthened as the week has moved along. DraftKings Sportsbook has odds-on favorites for each of the first seven picks, but will the top part of the draft be entirely predictable?

Last year, the first part of the draft was fairly predictable, with the top three QBs slotting in the first three picks before Marvin Harrison Jr., Joe Alt, Malik Nabers and JC Latham came off the board. Then, we got our first big surprise with the Falcons taking quarterback Michael Penix Jr. despite signing Kirk Cousins earlier in the offseason. I touted Penix as a top-10 pick at +2800 with a sprinkle on going No. 8 at +8500 in my final longshots article from last year, though my reasoning was more expecting Atlanta to trade down.

My first mock draft of the season is below, incorporating 10 best bets I think are worth making with two weeks to go.
