The college basketball season tipped off back on Nov. 4. Now we are down to the final 16 teams.
Each tournament is different. This tournament is where lower seeds go to die. The only double-digit seed to make the Sweet 16 is Arkansas (10). Seven of the eight No. 1 and No. 2 seeds remain in the field, with St. John's the only to get knocked off. The SEC was considered the best conference all season and it put a record seven teams in the Sweet 16.
So March hasn't been all that mad in 2025. With most of the top seeds making the Sweet 16 though, it sets up for some intriguing matchups on Thursday and Friday. Here is how I recommend approaching the Sweet 16 from a betting perspective.
