2024 Travelers Championship odds, picks, Fantasy golf power rankings: PGA Tour predictions, expert best bets

Eric Cohen reveals his golf best bets and top players for the Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, CT

What a weekend it was at Pinehurst with Bryson DeChambeau defeating Rory McIlroy in an epic finish on the 18th hole. How will McIlroy respond after bogeying three of his last four holes in a tournament that was his to win on the back nine? Update: he won't. Rory withdrew from the Travelers Championship on Monday. This week, the PGA Tour moves to TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, CT for the final of eight Signature Events this season. A field of 72 players will compete for $20 million in prize money at the par-70 course, which plays at only 6,835 yards.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, coming off his worst performance in a major in two years, is the +400 favorite followed by Xander Schauffele (+750), Rory McIlroy (+800), Collin Morikawa (+1200), Ludvig Aberg (+1600) and Viktor Hovland (+2000).

With a top field set to take on this Signature Event in Connecticut, who can you trust for your Travelers Championship golf picks? Before you set your Travelers Championship golf lineups or make any PGA Tour bets, you NEED to see the Fantasy golf rankings from Fantasy expert Eric Cohen.

Cohen is an avid golf bettor who correctly predicted the pre-tournament outright winner of the 2024 U.S. Open (Bryson DeChambeau +2000), 2024 Players Championship (Scottie Scheffler +550), 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic (Rickie Fowler +1400), 2023 PGA Championship (Brooks Koepka +2000), 2023 Honda Classic (Chris Kirk +3500), 2022 Open Championship (Cameron Smith +2200), 2022 U.S. Open (Matt Fitzpatrick +2500), and 2022 Phoenix Open (Scheffler's first career victory at +2800).

Eric is a contributor to SportsLine's YouTube shows including "Early Edge" and is the host of "The Early Wedge" golf show (live on Tuesday, June 18th at 7 p.m. ET). Anyone who has followed Cohen's predictions is up big! Now, Cohen has studied the field set to play at TPC River Highlands and revealed his Travelers Championship Fantasy golf rankings.

We can tell you he is comfortable backing Brian Harman at 40-1 odds this week. "In five of the last six years, Harman has registered a top-eight finish at TPC River Highlands. At a shorter course, the diminutive Harman should have a big weekend once again."

On the other hand, Cohen is fading Morikawa, one of the favorites, at 16-1 odds. "Every part of his game is working well right now, so why in my right mind would I rank him lower than usual this week? It's because in his limited history at TPC River Highlands, the American has two missed cuts and a T36 on debut to his credit."

Cohen is also backing several underdogs in his Travelers Championship fantasy golf picks, including two 110-1 longshots who could be a difference-maker for your Fantasy golf lineups! If these players can pull off a stunning result, it would bring a HUGE payoff and be valuable pieces for Travelers Championship golf lineups. You ABSOLUTELY need to see who they are before locking in any fantasy golf picks.
