2024 Tour Championship odds, picks, fantasy golf power rankings: PGA Tour predictions and best bets for this week's event from golf expert

Eric Cohen reveals his golf best bets and top players for the season ending TOUR Championship at East Lake Golf Club

Keegan Bradley began the week as the last player in the 50-man field for the FedExCup semifinals at the BMW Championship. At 60-1 odds, he needed a top finish to advance to next week and he did just that, winning by one over Sam Burns and Ludvig Aberg at Castle Pines Golf Club. Bradley now starts the week in fourth place, four shots behind Scottie Scheffler in this weighted event. Based on their current FedExCup ranking, No. 1 overall Scottie Scheffler begins at -10 under par whereas Nos. 26 through 30 (Chris Kirk, Tom Hoge, Aaron Rai, Christiaan Bezuidenhout, and Justin Thomas) begin at even par. The winner will take home an astonishing $18 million, while second place gets $6.5 million, third place $5 million, all the way down to $500,000 for 30th place.

Including starting scores, Scottie Scheffler is the favorite at even money, followed by World No. 2 Xander Schauffele (+240), Hideki Matsuyama (+1200), Rory McIlroy (+1600), with Ludvig Aberg at +2000 and Collin Morikawa at +2500.

With the biggest names in golf playing for a chance at history, who can you trust for your Tour Championship Fantasy golf picks? Before you set your TOUR Championship 2024 Fantasy golf lineups or make any PGA Tour bets, you NEED to see the Fantasy golf rankings from Fantasy expert Eric Cohen.

Cohen is an avid golf bettor who correctly predicted the pre-tournament outright winner in seven tournaments over the last two seasons. He correctly identified Aaron Rai at +3300 odds in the 2024 Wyndham Championship, as well as Davis Thompson (2024 John Deere Classic, +2200), Bryson DeChambeau (2024 U.S. Open, +2000), Scottie Scheffler (2024 Players Championship, +550), Rickie Fowler (2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic, +1400), Brooks Koepka (2023 PGA Championship, +2000), and Chris Kirk (2023 Honda Classic, +3500).

Eric is a contributor to SportsLine's YouTube shows including "Early Edge" and is the host of "The Early Wedge" golf show (live on Tuesday, August 27th at 6 p.m. ET). Anyone who has followed Cohen's predictions is up big! Now, Cohen has studied the field set to play at East Lake and revealed his Tour Championship Fantasy golf rankings.

We can tell you he is backing Sam Burns at 40-1 odds to make a run up the leaderboard. "He's gained 28 strokes on the greens in his last six events combined, including seven in Memphis and six in Colorado. Last year, he tied for 4th place without starting strokes and finished T9 overall."

On the other hand, Cohen is fading Hideki Matsuyama, the oddsmakers' third choice at 12-1 odds, saying: "There's too much money on the line for him not to tough it out this weekend [with a back injury], but I'm most concerned that he's lost shots off the tee in all nine appearances at East Lake."
