For four years, Mike Vrabel was the master of outperforming expectations and delivering winning records with a Tennessee Titans team that first featured Marcus Mariota at quarterback, then Ryan Tannehill. After a 7-10 season in 2022 turned into a 6-11 finish last year, both caused by bad offensive play, Vrabel was shown the door and an offensive-minded head coach was hired in former Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan.

Callahan won't have nearly the quality of weapons at hand in Tennessee that he did in Cincinnati, but Tennessee did go to work improving the group around second-year quarterback Will Levis, first landing Calvin Ridley from Jacksonville and then reuniting Callahan with Tyler Boyd to plug into the same spot in his new offense. More pressure will be on Levis to perform with the offense not able to continue leaning on Derrick Henry, who left for Baltimore, and his development will be key to Callahan having success in his first season.

Levis was awesome in his debut last year, throwing four touchdowns to lead Tennessee to a 28-23 win over Atlanta, but he was unable to recapture that form over the rest of the season, throwing just four more touchdowns in his next eight starts and missing two of the team's final three games. This will be a big offseason for Levis' future as he prepares to be the leader of an offense that is likely to pass more than it has in a long time, and whether he's up for the task will determine whether the Titans can go back to making noise in the AFC South.
