2024 PGA Championship Sunday odds, picks: Proven golf model reveals updated projected leaderboard, surprising predictions

The SportsLine Projection Model simulated the final round of the PGA Championship 2024 10,000 times and came up with a shocking leaderboard

The third round of the 2024 PGA Championship is in the books and there's a jam-packed leaderboard heading into Sunday. Collin Morikawa and Xander Schauffele are tied for the lead at -15. Sahith Theegala is a shot back (-14) and the trio of Bryson DeChambeau, Shane Lowry and Viktor Hovland are all tied at -13. Fifteen total players are within five strokes of the lead, setting up a thrilling finish on Sunday.

Schauffele is the slight favorite at +250, followed by Morikawa at +260. DeChambeau (+650), Theegala (+650), Hovland (+750) and Lowry, who tied the major championship round record with a 62 on Saturday, is +1200. No other golfer is lower than +4000. The first tee times for Round 4 come at 7:45 a.m. ET on Sunday.

We simulated the final round of the 2024 PGA Championship 10,000 times, and there are some MAJOR surprises. Join SportsLine now to see the shocking PGA Championship weekend leaderboard.

Our proprietary model, built by DFS pro Mike McClure, has been red-hot since the PGA Tour resumed in June of 2020. In fact, the model is up nearly $9,000 on its best bets since the restart, nailing tournament after tournament!

McClure's model predicted Scottie Scheffler would finish on top of the leaderboard at the 2024 Masters, Arnold Palmer Invitational, and The Players Championship this season. McClure also included Hideki Matsuyama in his best bets to win the 2024 Genesis Invitational. That bet hit at +9000, and for the entire tournament, McClure's best bets returned nearly $1,000!

The model also predicted Jon Rahm would be victorious at the 2023 Sentry Tournament of Champions and The American Express. At the 2023 Masters, the model was all over Rahm's second career major victory heading into the weekend. Rahm was two strokes off the lead heading into the third round, but the model still projected him as the winner. It was the second straight Masters win for the model, which also nailed Scheffler winning in 2022.

In addition, McClure's best bets included Nick Taylor (70-1) winning the 2023 RBC Canadian Open, Jason Day (17-1) winning the 2023 AT&T Byron Nelson, and Rickie Fowler (14-1) finishing on top of the leaderboard at the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic.

This same model has also nailed a whopping 11 majors entering the weekend and three straight Masters! Anyone who has followed it has seen MASSIVE returns!  Join SportsLine now to see the model's shocking PGA Championship picks from 10,000 simulations!

One surprise the model is calling for the final round of the PGA Championship 2024: Lowry, coming off his record-tying performance on Saturday, stumbles and barely finished in the top 10! Another surprise: Justin Thomas, a massive +8000 longshot, makes a run on Sunday. He's a target for anyone looking for a HUGE payday!

Also, the model is targeting TWO other golfers with triple-digit odds who will make a STRONG run at the title on Sunday! Anyone who backs these golfers could hit it BIG. You ABSOLUTELY need to see who they are before locking in any 2024 PGA Championship picks for the final two rounds!

So who wins the PGA Championship 2024, and which HUGE longshots make a run at the title on Sunday? ... Join SportsLine right now to see who you can bank on to win the 2024 PGA Championship, and see which longshots make a run at the title in Round 4, all from the model that nailed 11 majors, including three straight Masters!
