2024 NFL win totals odds, best bets: SportsLine experts reveal their top Over and Under picks and predictions
The 2022 Houston Texans finished with a 3-13-1 record that was enough to earn them the No. 2 overall pick. After a change in coaching staffs and the selection of C.J. Stroud in the NFL Draft, the betting market placed the Texans' win total at 6.5 heading into the season, expecting a moderate improvement in Stroud's rookie season. Instead, Stroud and DeMeco Ryans led Houston to the AFC South title while winning 10 games and easily cashing for Over bettors. Meanwhile, the three teams with win totals at 11.5 all finished under, with the Kansas City Chiefs just missing out before their march to a Super Bowl title, the Philadelphia Eagles collapsing late in the season and the Cincinnati Bengals losing Joe Burrow to injury midseason.
