2022 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am One and Done picks: PGA Tour predictions, expert golf betting advice from proven DFS pro
The PGA Tour stays on the west coast this week with the 2022 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am set to tee off on Thursday, Feb. 3 in Pebble Beach, Calif.. The three course format featuring professionals playing along side celebrities is back in 2022, with rounds set to be played at Spyglass Hill Golf Club, Pebble Beach Golf Links, and the Shore Course at Monterey Peninsula Country Club. The final round will be played at Pebble Beach. The tournament purse is $8.7 million, with the winner taking home $1.566 million. Patrick Cantlay (7-1) is listed as the betting favorite in the latest AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am odds from Caesars Sportsbook. Other top contenders in the 2022 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am field include Jason Day (20-1), Jordan Spieth (20-1), and Justin Rose (28-1). Defending champion Daniel Berger (14-1) was forced to withdraw due to a back injury, while Will Zalatoris was listed as a top contender at 16-1, but was forced to withdraw after testing positive for COVID-19.
Before locking in your 2022 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am one and done picks, you NEED to see what Daily Fantasy Sports pro Mike McClure has to say.
The One and Done format is growing in popularity. It has several noticeable similarities to NFL Survivor pools, with the main difference being entries are not eliminated with a bad week. Players pick one golfer per week (often with a backup in case of a last minute withdrawal) and earn points based on their selected golfer's prize money for that tournament. Golfers can only be used once per season, and the point format makes nailing majors and big money tournaments critical.
McClure is a DFS legend with nearly $2 million in career winnings, and he's been RED-HOT on his PGA picks dating back to the PGA Tour restart in June of 2020. McClure uses his proprietary simulation model to analyze the field and crush his golf picks.
Last week at the Farmers Insurance Open, McClure's top pick was 25-year-old Will Zalatoris. The result: Zalatoris finished in sole possession of second place, taking home $915,600. While he came up short against eventual winner Luke List in a one-hole playoff, Zalatoris' performance at Torrey Pines was HUGE for one and done players.
Two weeks ago at The American Express, McClure was all over Patrick Cantlay and Sungjae Im, who finished 9th ($222,300) and T-11 ($184,300), respectively.Â
Three weeks ago at the Sony Open, McClure's model listed Hideki Matsuyama among the top contenders. The reigning Masters champion went out and overcame a five-stroke deficit on the back nine of the final round to notch his eighth career PGA Tour victory.
Four weeks ago at the Sentry Tournament of Champions, McClure included Jon Rahm and Daniel Berger among his top PGA picks. The result: Rahm came in second with a score of 33-under par, while Berger secured a top-five finish with a score of 25-under par. Anybody that included them in their one and done picks is in great shape.Â
At the 2021 World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba in November, the model was all over Viktor Hovland (18-1) winning his third PGA Tour title. At the 2021 Open Championship, McClure's best bets included Collin Morikawa winning outright even though he was listed as a massive 40-1 long shot. In addition, McClure's model was all over Jon Rahm's (10-1) first career major championship victory at the 2021 U.S. Open.Â
McClure's model is up nearly $10,000 on its best bets since the restart, nailing tournament after tournament. Anyone who has followed it has seen MASSIVE returns!
Now, McClure has set his sights on the 2022 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and just revealed his optimal One and Done picks. They are a must-see for any player looking for an edge in their One and Done pool.
We can tell you that one of McClure's favorite Farmers Open One and Done picks is Jason Day, who is currently listed at 20-1 to win the tournament at Caesars. Day, ranked No. 83 in the Official World Golf Rankings, is coming off a strong T-3 finish last week at the Farmers Insurance Open, and has the skillset to succeed on the Pebble Beach courses. The former world No. 1 has battled injuries in recent years, but is in good shape right now and will likely be an under-the-radar One and Done pick in the loaded AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am field this week.
McClure is also targeting another One and Done sleeper who's listed at 40-1 in the Pebble Beach Pro-Am odds and is primed to blow up this week, giving you a HUGE return! Picks like these could be the difference between winning your One and Done pool or going home with nothing. You ABSOLUTELY need to see who it is before locking in your pick.
