This has trap line written all over it. An unranked team have a -110 line vs a top-10 spells trouble for that top-10 team. This will be the hardest test for the Rebels so far this this season. The Tigers have won the last 6 meetings between these two teams in Baton Rouge. The Tigers should be able to move the ball offensively and win a tight game.

I think this might be as much as 10 points too high. Ole Miss is going to run, run and run and we know that shortens games with the clock running. Ole Miss is tied with Georgia and Michigan for the FBS lead in total rushing touchdowns (24), and ranks in the top 15 in the FBS in total rushing yards (1,898), yards per game (271.1), total attempts (330) and yards per rush (5.75). The Rebs have played relatively well defensively other than allowing 34 points last week to Auburn. You could say the same about LSU's defense other than allowing 35 last week to Florida.

Let's not be prisoners of the moment here. Yes, the Ole Miss defense got lit up by Auburn and LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels paid rent in the Florida end zone last week. But I don't trust LSU's defensive front enough to slow down a Rebels' rushing attack that is the best and most creative in the nation. Plus, it's not like LSU plays fast. If Ole Miss starts to crank things up, I fully expect Tigers coach Brian Kelly to slow things down and keep coach Lane Kiffin's offense on the sideline as much as possible.
