Louisiana has won all five meetings with Georgia State and the last time they met at Cajun Field, Louisiana came away with the 36-22 win and cover (-13.5). Coach Billy Napier brought back almost everyone from last season's 10-1 squad. The Cajuns' only loss this season was to Texas. Fifth-year senior QB Levi Lewis manages the game well, especially at home where the Cajuns have covered their last three. Take Louisiana to cover Thursday.

This is about the limit where I'd go on this game, although most models have Louisiana winning by 14 (SportsLine's has it by 17). The Cajuns have won seven straight and have generally been spanking teams at home. The only Sun Belt opponent equal to Louisiana that Georgia State has played thus far is App State, and the Panthers lost by 29 at home. Louisiana beat App State by 28. Apples and oranges a bit, but I do think the Cajuns will win by at least 14 in a "Blackout" in Lafayette. They are 4-1 ATS in their past five at home.

The Rajin' Cajuns have been the best team in the Sun Belt this season regardless of what the polls say. They have been particularly good on their home field. Louisiana has won its last three games at home by at least 28 points. One of those wins came over Appalachian State. Louisiana should cover this spread comfortably.
