Going against the market here as the total has dropped likely as a result of Kentucky good injury news with Jaxson Robinson (wrist) and Lamont Butler (shoulder) listed as probable to play. Butler is the Wildcats best perimeter defender and thus UK's defensive rating should improve with his return. That said, Oklahoma just played another fast-on-fast matchup against Mississippi State this weekend and the total ended up at 180. I'm expecting a lot of pace, space and points and we might have some extra value moving against the market.
I'm going to take a shot with Kentucky here. Guards Lamont Butler and Jaxon Robinson were both listed as probable on Tuesday's injury report after missing the last few games. Getting one, or both, back would be huge for the Wildcats. And I don't want to overreact to OU getting one win at home vs. a miserable Mississippi State team. This is the same squad that lost five ugly games in a row and are a disappointing 4-10 in the SEC. You won't retire betting UK on the road, although I think the line moves to -4.5 if both Butler and Robinson play. I like the ML up to -160 or the spread -3 or less.
