Virginia begins their season without Tony Bennett for the first time 2009. Their interim head coach, Ron Sanchez, spent years under Bennett and will most likely bring the defensive minded back with the Cavaliers. Campbell has always struggled offensively and return their leading scorer from last season, who only averaged 10.4 points per game. The Cavaliers will have to adapt with a new coach, new players but should still have a similar Tony Bennett style team with a slower paced game on both ends of the court.
