Kansas looks rejuvenated over their last few games but TCU, with a healthy Mike Miles and Eddie Lampkin is different team, obviously. The Jayhawks have not forgot about the blow-out loss to the Horned Frogs at Lawrence, where they shot 33.3 percent from beyond the arc. However, TCU is shooting 64.4 percent from the floor over their last three games. Kansas is also rolling at 58.5 percent from the floor during that span but only shooting 52.9 percent, overall, on the road this season. Each team shoots above 71 percent at the free-throw in their home and away splits. It’ll be a packed house in Fort Worth in their biggest game of the season. I’m on TCU.
TCU came into Kansas four weeks ago and pulled a stunning 83-60 upset. The Jayhawks' bad play at home still resonates and may have made them focus more. TCU just ended a four-game losing streak by beating Oklahoma State on Saturday. Take Kansas in a revenge spot Monday.
The return of Mike Miles is incredibly significant for everything that TCU wants to accomplish this season and definitely impacts the Horned Frogs ceiling in the NCAA Tournament. I just can't pass up the opportunity to get points with a Kansas team that's rounding into its own title-contending form and more than capable of winning this game. A huge key to this has been the play of Kansas point guard Dajuan Harris, who has 18 assists to just 2 turnovers in his last two games. Harris will need to be excellent in a tough road environment opposite TCU's stellar backcourt, now enhanced with Miles' return, but that's nothing new coming off the weekend win against Baylor.
