I was a little on the fence for this lone NCAA matinee. The spread was 5.5 at one point and if it had gone up, I was probably on Elon. However, it has come down so now I'll take the home side on the ML. KenPom ranks Elon, which has only beaten two lower-level schools, at No. 345 nationally and Presbyterian, which at least has been competitive at times against some reasonable competition, at 312. The Blue Hose are fairly deep as eight Presbyterian players have recorded at least one double-figure scoring game this season. Elon lost a key player in DeAndre Smart for the season earlier this year and another rotation guy, Torrence Watson, is in question due to injury (not in starting five).
