Kris Knoblauch laid his cards on the table Monday night vs. the Kings when resting almost all of his key Oilers contributors, some needing a bit more time to get healthy (like Leon Draisaitl), some recently back from injury and not risking another hurt (like Connor McDavid), and others simply needing a little break (Zach Hyman). Recently-activated GK Stuart Skinner will apparently start tonight, however, needing one more tune-up before the playoffs begin on the weekend. The Sharks are winless in ten but don't look helpless, there with the Oilers twice in April, losing 3-2 on April 3 and 4-2 on April 11, the latter with Edmonton scoring an empty-netter with 26 seconds left.
