Picking against Vegas at the moment might seem folly as the Golden Knights have won five straight including the first two on this road trip at Minnesota and Chicago. That's opened up some daylight between VGK and the chasing pack in the Pacific Division and this could be a letdown spot, especially with Ilya Samsonov in goal, with wins in only four of his last nine starts, and Adin Hill getting a rest tonight. The Preds, however, are still trying, with recent wins over Carolina and Toronto, and note some good recent efforts in goal from Jusse Saros, keeping Nashville in games by stopping 76 of 82 shots (.927 saves) in his last three starts.
