The Rangers haven't lost in nearly a month and can set the franchise record with their 11th consecutive victory in the opener of their home-and-home series with the Blue Jackets. Columbus is last in the Metropolitan Division and just 9-15-4 at home. It's hard to imagine New York's winning streak will come to an end here.

The Rangers have won 10 straight and show no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Columbus has been up-and-down this season and is in somewhat of a state of flux with GM Jarmo Kekalainen getting fired on Thursday. I'm taking the Rangers to win their 11-straight here.

Jonathan Quick is in goal on Sunday but note he's won his last four starts and for February he's posted a 1.99 GAA. Meanwhile, Columbus looks in a transitionary state after GM Jarmo Kekalainen was recently oink-slipped , and inconsistent form suggested by no back-to-back wins since Thanksgiving week (the Jackets are however off of another loss here).
