Not only has Vegas won all six of their home games against the Panthers, but also, all six have had at least six total goals. Despite Florida striking first in game 1, the Knights offense rallied to a 5-2 win. Even though I'm also on Vegas ML, I still think the Panthers find the back of the net at least a couple of times. Over 5.5 is 8-2 in Vegas' home playoff games this season. I'll bet on another high-scoring matchup.
After Saturday's Knights win, the Panthers are now 0-6 in Vegas. Yes, anything can happen in the playoffs, but I've got to keep riding the Knights. Adin Hill has kept Florida to just two goals in all of his three starts against them this season. Meanwhile, Sergei Bobrovsky had one of his worst starts this playoffs in game 1. Vegas is 7-3 at home this postseason. Take the Golden Knights ML.
I thought the Panthers were the better team in the first period of Saturday's Game 1. Eventually Vegas wore them down and scored three times in the third period to capture the 5-2 win. Florida has the better goalie in Sergei Bobrovsky and the best individual player in Matthew Tkachuk. They had won 11 of their last 12 games before Saturday's performance. Expect Florida to bounce back and even the series before heading home on Thursday. This series has all the makings of at least six games, if not seven.
