Both backup goaltenders should be starting tonight, and I like Casey Desmith for the Penguins in that matchup. The Penguins have won four in a row while the Bruins have struggled, including a 4-1 win last night. Tuuka Rask is out, take the value on the Penguins at home.

Pittsburgh beat visiting Boston, which is slumping badly, 4-1 on Monday night and it's not easy to beat the same team again 24 hours later, but the Bruins are forced to give 23-year-old goalie Daniel Vladar his first NHL start because it's the second of a B2B and No. 1 Tuukka Rask is out injured. Vladar is considered a good prospect and has been very solid in the AHL, but I'm betting against a rookie on the road against Sidney Crosby and the Pens. They start Casey DeSmith, who has allowed only eight goals in his last five starts and is 6-2-0 overall this season with a 2.23 GAA and a .912 save percentage.
