Cardinals vs. Bears NFL injury report, odds: Spread, total likely to rise with Kyler Murray, DeAndre Hopkins cleared to play; Andy Dalton probable QB for Chicago

Good news for the Cardinals as their two offensive stars are expected back Sunday in Chicago.

Earlier this week, the Arizona Cardinals were as high as 8.5-point favorites coming out of their bye week for Sunday's game at Chicago but that spread is currently -7.5 because there was some uncertainty about Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray and receiver DeAndre Hopkins playing due to injury. Expect that number to rise again after NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirmed both will play. The total opened at 46 but dropped to 43.5 – expect that to tick up as well.

At Caesars Sportsbook, bettors are heavy on Under the total with 81 percent of the money wagered and 68 percent of the bets.

Arizona went 2-1 without those two stars, although the three-game absence may have cost Murray any shot he had at winning the NFL MVP. He's currently +1200 on that prop, with Tom Brady still the +275 leader.

Barring leaving very early due to injury, Murray on Sunday will become the fourth-youngest player (24 years, 120 days old Sunday) to reach 10,000 passing yards in NFL history, surpassing Cam Newton. Drew Bledsoe holds the record. Murray also will join Newton as the only players ever with at least 10,000 passing yards and 1,500 rushing yards in their first three seasons.

Not only is Arizona 6-0 SU & ATS on the road this season, it has won every game by double digits. No other team is unbeaten ATS away. New England is 5-0 SU but 4-1 ATS.

Chicago snapped a five-game skid with a last-second win in Detroit on Thanksgiving. Rookie QB Justin Fields sat out with fractured ribs. He has practiced this week, but Andy Dalton has taken first-team reps and is likely to start again. No reason to risk Fields' longer-term health. Dalton threw for 317 yards and a TD in the win over the Lions.

The Bears are 0-3 straight up and ATS this season as home underdogs and are a stunning 0-10 ATS in their past 10 games overall dating to 2019 against teams at least three games over .500. That's the longest such winless ATS streak by any team since at least 2000.
