The Dallas Cowboys can all but wrap up the NFC East title on Sunday – not really but essentially so if the Eagles lose – with a win over the visiting Denver Broncos, and the Cowboys are 10-point favorites at Caesars Sportsbook now that it has been confirmed that quarterback Dak Prescott will return from a one-game injury absence. However, top wideout CeeDee Lamb is in some question.

Dallas is the NFL's lone unbeaten against the spread team and is seeking to become the first club since the 2007 record-setting New England Patriots to start 8-0 ATS. No team this century has started 9-0 ATS.

The Cowboys closed as four-point underdogs last Sunday night at Minnesota when Prescott was scratched with a calf injury, but Cooper Rush performed very well in leading a Cowboys victory in his first NFL start. Perhaps so much for the team needing a better backup. Prescott said he is "pretty close" to 100 percent for this Sunday.

Dallas leads the NFL by a fair margin in yards per game at 454.9. That marks the fifth-most by a team through Week 8 since 1970. With at least 400 yards of offense Sunday, the Cowboys would become the sixth team ever to total at least 400 yards in seven of their first eight games of a season. Two of the previous five made the Super Bowl: 2007 Patriots and 2013 Broncos. The Cowboys are currently +500 to win the NFC and -3000 to win the NFC East. They already have a four-game lead in the loss column over second-place Philadelphia.

It's up in the air whether Lamb will play after spraining his ankle in practice Wednesday and limited Thursday. He leads the team with 39 catches and 609 yards and is second four TD catches. There is optimism that Lamb will play. Dallas could get back fellow wideout Michael Gallup off IR. He has been practicing this week.

Left tackle Tyron Smith is not likely to play with an ankle injury that forced him out of the second half against the Vikings. At practice this week, Terence Steele was playing left tackle and Lael Collins was at right tackle. Steele usually plays right tackle, Collins is usually a guard and Ty Nsekhe had replaced Smith in Minnesota.

Denver probably will be without top tight end Noah Fant, who is on the COVID list. Fant is the second-leading receiver for the Broncos with 37 catches, is third in yards receiving (320) and tied for the team lead in touchdown catches (three). Denver enters 0-4 SU & ATS this season against teams currently at .500 or better and 4-0 SU & ATS vs. teams currently below. 500.
