This is a chunky number for Jonathan Kuminga even in a matchup that should be uptempo against the Mavs. Kuminga really doesn't do a ton besides score so if his shot isn't falling he tends to disappear from the game both literally and figuratively.
Kyrie Irving has been very quiet by his standards through the month of March and it's been his teammate Luka that has carried the load offensively. Kyrie hasn't been forcing offense and is happy to serve as a secondary scorer to Luka who is playing at an all time level offensively. It is only a matter of time until Kyrie breaks out of his mini "slump" and we're getting a discount on this combo line in what should be a high scoring environment against Golden State. I'll take the the discount and it's only a matter of time until Kyrie erupts for a 30 bomb/ceiling game.
Daniel Gafford has taken over as the starting Center in Dallas despite the Mavericks having numerous capable bigs. Gafford and Luka have proven to be a nice fit and work well together in pick and roll situations. Gafford has not missed a single shot in four consecutive games while attempting 28 shots. I like Gaffords chances to keep his streak alive against an undersized Warriors front court that has been generous to opposing Centers. I also believe Gafford may have earned a few extra minutes as well.
