The Knicks look a bit different the past couple of weeks minus Julius Randle and OJ Anunoby, but at its core, New York remains a defensive team for Tom Thibodeau and has been trending strongly "under" since New Year's (18-5 "under" last 23). Meanwhile, a bit surprisingly, perhaps, the Celtics are 11-6 "under" since mid-January, and landed on 212 in their earlier visit to MSG on opening night. Play Celtics-Knicks "Under"
I am double dipping on Jrue Holiday as this line is simply too low. Jrue plays upwards of 35-38 minutes and even in a down statistical year is averaging a combined 24.6 PRA. This is undoubtedly a tough matchup but Holiday can even get home in 3 quarters.
This number is simply way too low for a player the caliber of Jrue Holiday who routinely plays 35+ minutes in non blowouts. I expect a competitive affair from two teams who could easily meet in the playoffs and we're possibly looking at a preview of the Eastern Conference Finals. Jrue's scoring is way down this season compared to previous years but I believe that has more to do with playing on a loaded starting five than Jrue regressing. I like Jrue's chances of scoring at least 11+ points tomorrow.
