A little sluggish for the Knicks on Thursday night, though in the end it was still another W, as the win over the Wizards moved NY to 8-2 since New Year's and adding OJ Anunoby from the Raptors. For the first time, Anunoby tonight gets to face his old team, which has struggled in his absence. Anunody's versatility on defense and ability to blanket the perimeter has been the one thing missed most by the Raps and the one thing appreciated most by Tom Thibdoeau, as the Knicks' stop-end numbers have improved dramatically, reflected in the Knicks' 9-1 "under" mark since his arrival. This number just is simply way too low for Scottie Barnes who averages a combined 34.4 PRA this season. That is before we factor in that Pascal Siakam and his team leading 16 FGA's have vacated the offense and Barnes is going to be the main beneficiary. Barnes is the teams best playmaker and rebounder and the books are way behind the eightball here IMO.
