While I don't think the Nets fall off a cliff this season without Kevin Durant like they did last season, they obviously are downgraded in a huge way. Yes, the Celtics played last night but neither Jayson Tatum nor Jaylen Brown had to play heavy, heavy minutes and now neither has to worry about expending energy guarding KD. Boston's two best defenders, Marcus Smart and Robert Williams, were out Wednesday. Williams will play here and Smart probably will.
