Few batters have been as hot as Riley Greene over the last month, with the Tigers star hitting .326/.410/.663 over the last 28 days, and half of his 30 hits in 25 games during that span have gone for extra bases. He owns a 163 OP+ against righties and a 159 OPS+ away from Detroit, and he gets to face a mediocre righty in Cincinnati today. Graham Ashcraft doesn't give up a ton of extra base hits but he puts a lot of people on base, so I'm also good with playing Over 1.5 H+R+RBI and even an alt line of 2+ hits for Greene.
Graham Ashcraft makes his third start since returning to the Reds rotation, and his return has been more of the same as he's allowed at least three earned runs in eight straight starts. The Tigers offense has been below average against righties this year but has been playing well of late, scoring at least three runs against five straight righty starters (though in one of those starts only one of the runs was earned) prior to getting shut down by Hunter Greene yesterday. I think Ashcraft should be favored to allow at least three runs with his poor streak of starts so I'll take the value here.
