Gerrit Cole is on the mound for the Yankees but he hasn't quite looked in form yet, and Juan Soto is out of the lineup again for New York. Have to hope the good Kevin Gausman shows for the Jays. He has been wildly inconsistent but has good career numbers vs. the Yankees. Soto hits him well. So does Aaron Judge, but now he can be pitched around a bit easier.

Eight runs seems a pretty low "total" these days for the Yankees, especially after another explosion yesterday in Toronto. That puts the Over at 9-1 in the Yanks' last 10 games, and it's usually way "over" as their contests have reached at least 11 runs in 10 of the last 13. Moreover, Gerrit Cole's first two starts since being activated have been bumpy, to say the least (9.00 ERA, 1.88 WHIP). Toronto's "totals" have reached eight runs or more in eight of Kevin Gausman's last 10 starts.
