    Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

    Jason's Analysis:

The Astros can smell blood in the AL West, and I like them to continue their winning ways on the road after a stud home stand. They are finally getting production from the bottom of the lineup, and their star bats are awake as well. I like Ronel Blanco on the mound for the Astros. He is 5-0 on the road with a 1.98 ERA. His strikeout rate is way up on the road, and the Mets' lack of familiarity with him should be a problem. Jose Quintana has turned things around for the Mets, but they've still dropped three of his last four home starts. Both teams are red-hot, but the 'Stros are more fortified and proven and are making a power move, finally.
